"Every Day Matters: Our Path to Better Attendance"

In this session, we share our “all hands on deck” approach to improving student attendance through strategies such as the Walking School Bus, culturally responsive events, inclusive programs, and strong community partnerships. Participants will learn how to launch a Walking School Bus in their own schools and explore the outreach efforts and resources that have helped our community school boost attendance and, in turn, strengthen academic proficiency.
