Through case studies, games, discussion, and hands-on activities, participants will learn how SNACC (Sustainable Nutrition And Community Connection), a small non-profit based in New York City, is changing the landscape for students in underserved communities across the city by bringing nutrition education and real-life culinary skills together in fun, impactful, creative, hands-on classroom and afterschool experiences. At SNACC, we aim to foster confidence, empowerment, and knowledge through food, and we’d love to share SNACC with you!
