Get ready for an exciting few days of innovative learning, engagement, networking, and fun. Whether this is your first time or you’re a returning attendee, we’re so glad you’re here to help make this event unforgettable!
Thursday April 30, 2026 3:30pm - 5:00pm EDT
The goal of this workshop is to support educators in building programs that help youth explore their purpose in life. This workshop will share highlights from “Growing Purpose,” a newly developed training created by the Program for Research on Youth Development and Engagement (PRYDE) at Cornell University. We will introduce educators to academic theories about the experience and development of purpose among youth so that they may use that information to positively influence the youth with whom they work in their programs. Through the presentation and activities, attendees will be able to explain why purpose matters to themselves and to youth. And interested educators will be invited to work with PRYDE to offer the full Growing Purpose training in their program.
