About me
Alexandra Teitel is a Program Director at Partnership With Children (PWC), supporting staff, partnerships, and programming at five Community Schools in NYC. Previously Alex served as the Community School Director at PS 284 in Brooklyn, where she collaboratively developed and implemented strategies to advance attendance, enrichment, health, family engagement and a positive school climate. Before joining PWC, Alex directed entrepreneurship education programs with high school students in Oakland, California, and taught middle school ELA and Social Studies in Boston Public Schools. Throughout her career, she has been focused on advancing equity and access for all students, rooted in a firm belief in the power of student voice and community collaboration.
