About me
Claire Comtois is an Education & Training Specialist at Child Care Resource Network in Buffalo, NY. She has been dedicated to the field of school-age care for 12 years. She began her career in the child care field as a Director of SACC programming, supporting her staff and organization with training as well as overseeing the registration process. This work led her to a position as a Registrar, working with the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) to oversee and support new and existing programs in the School Age Child Care (SACC) as well as Family Day Care (FDC) modalities. In 2022, she accepted a position in the Education Department at Child Care Resource Network, receiving her NYS T-TAP Credential.
Claire is a NYS SAC Credentialed Professional, and serves as an Endorser, Advisor, and Instructor for the course. In addition to her work supporting WNY SACC programs, Claire is a part of the Advisory Team for the Youth Access Coalition, the regional afterschool network in Buffalo, NY. She is also a member of the Live Well Erie Children’s Group and United Way of BEC Starting Line Healthy Births Coalition.
