About me
Heather is a young professional that's worked with children for over 10 years. She is currently in her fourth year of afterschool programming with the Capital District YMCA and is advising for the School Age Childcare Credential for her second year. Her degree in Environmental Science informs her approach to STEM programming, while her Anthropology degree aligns her disposition with those reinforced in the Core Body of Knowledge. In her free time, Heather enjoys trivia and puzzles, music, crafting, and nature walks – all interests she brings to childcare programming as well.
