About me
Kailin Kucewicz serves as the School community engagement Coordinator for the Community Schools CoSER at Erie 1 BOCES. Through her role, Kailin works to connect resources to schools, students, and families across Western New York. Through a focus on macro level social work, Kailin engages on systems level thinking to build capacity within school districts and better align current initiatives, programs, and processes through the lens of collective impact.
Kailin is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York State. She has her Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from Widener University, a Master’s degree in Engineering from Lehigh University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Wells College.
Through her current role at Erie 1 BOCES, Kailin serves on the steering committee for the WNY SMART Collaborative, a co-lead for the Live Well Erie School Age Children group, a member of Leadership Buffalo's Rising Leaders Class of 2026, and supports the development of the Erie County TIG Network. Kailin teaches a Human Interaction course as an Associate Professor at SUNY Erie.
She has experience in program development and implementation, youth mentorship, educator supervision, and business development through strategic community partnerships. Outside of work, Kailin enjoys pickleball, cuddling with her cats Lasertron and Bazooka, and is learning how to make her own clothes.
