About me
Shania joins Network for Youth Success as a New York State Certified B-6 educator with seven years of teaching experience and many more in varied childcare spaces. She brings two years of experience in varied leadership roles within NAACP Troy Branch, and is currently a board member for Oakwood Community Center in Troy, NY. Shania received her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood/Childhood Education, Concentration in Black Studies, Minor in Deaf Studies from SUNY New Paltz. She has researched the key practices of critical thinking and supporting the various needs of learners in her master’s program, Integrated Education: Learning Behavior Specialist, through American College of Education.
