About me
Stacy serves as Assistant Director of the NYSED Community Schools Technical Assistance Center for the Central/Western region, supporting districts implementing or operating Community Schools. The Community School model has shaped her work from the start of her career. After graduating from SUNY Potsdam, she taught Early Kindergarten and Preschool students, including many multilingual learners, and founded Lil’ Learners, a family engagement program that fostered strong school–family partnerships for over 12 years. Stacy also served as Youth Director at the Binghamton Jewish Community Center, leading expanded learning and after-school programming. She brings deep experience in family engagement, youth development, and partnership-building to support schools in reimagining education for all students. Currently, Stacy is pursuing a Master of Science in Creativity and Change Leadership at SUNY Buffalo. This new direction has fueled her desire to collaborate with schools to promote creativity, transform systems, and foster collaborative leadership in educational and community environments.
